That, sir, is a lot of ink. What made you decide to recreate this particular cover?
It was the huts, really. Strange but true. I wanted to do a Lynd Ward-ian take on Buscema's cover, and the background seemed to lend itself towards that.Also, it's kind of a classic pose--the hero holding the damsel, etc.
It seems like it's missing a "One who tracks comets in their flight" or a "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" to me. But then, it is a cover...
