I did a zine several years ago called "The Astronauts Didn't Read Poetry". The title was taken from something David Byrne's character says in True Stories:
"You know the astronauts didn't read poetry. But that's changing."
Though honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to find out Scott Carpenter read poetry.
