Our area had a massive ice storm the last week of January...this is what our street and backyard looked like afterward. I wanted to get some shots of it all at night, but it was not to be.
The local news took to calling the whole event "Ice Storm 2009". Which sounds pretty lame, I think. All weather phenomena should get names, not just hurricanes and tropical storms.
So I'm calling this ice storm "Kurt".

That's pretty much what I'd do. Or were you tied to the couch?
