Wow. I have to say that of all the things I thought the internet would offer this evening, sketches of my face contorted in seeming anguish was not one of them. I feel like these are referencing some photos of STC! taken at a basement show. However, they could just as easily be of me at any point in my adult life talking about Israeli settlers or bad album art. You flatter me, Delap.
I miss shows like that. My old grind band St. Peter Ghidora once played a show in someone's tiny laundry room. It was in Dallas. Only ten or so people could reasonably fit in there but there were about thirty people. People smashed together on top of the dryer, etc. Every time I hit this one cymbal, it would bounce and hit this one guy's arm. He thought that was really cool. There were two people with their crotches literally against my back. One of them was this cute girl and I thought that was pretty cool. Anyway, those kinds of shows were always life affirming for me.

They are indeed from that basement show. I think it was 100 degrees in there...you guys look like you've been basted in chicken broth or something.
Good times!
