The odd man out being the first one, Steven Wilson's Insurgentes album, which has significantly less double bass and electronic voice than the Death and Cynic albums, respectively. But all are the real goods.

I'm glad you like the death stuff...Crystal Mountain on Symbolic makes me very happy...
There might be an unwritten rule that any rock/metal song with the world crystal in it is good (Crystal Mountain...Crystal Skull...Crystal Planet...etc).
I also really like Sacred Serenity and 1,000 Eyes on the Symbolic album.
My daughters, however, give Death a thumbs down. Just can't get past the vocals.
I think my wife has a Fleetwood Mac cassette tape somewhere.
I bought Symbolic the day it came out...on tape...I remember listening to it on headphones while making boxes at the factory where I worked...I was blown away..
